Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the Football Faith Blog. We are so excited that you have decided to join us in our exciting new ministry. As you can see, we’re just getting started, but we are excited and are praying to see just what God will do in the coming months.

We’re also excited to see what God will do in your life this year. Whether you are a first-time believer, a seasoned disciple, or perhaps you are going through a difficult season, we want you to know that we are here to support you by any means necessary.

This is something that we feel incredibly passionate about here at Football Faith. In a world where there seems to be more confusion about dealing with life’s issues than anything else, we look to the Word of God for guidance. Consider this verse: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2). God not only made us fellowship with Him but live in community with each other. That can be difficult, considering we still are in constant battle with our sin nature, but that struggle becomes easier when we live in a community with one another.

Here are a few benefits of living in a Christian community:

  • Encouragement and Strength: “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11
  • Accountability and Spiritual Growth: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17
  • Worship and Fellowship: “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” – Matthew 18:20
  • Love and Service: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:35
  • Protection Against the Enemy: “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”– Ecclesiastes 4:12
  • Sharing in Joy and Celebration: “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” – Romans 12:15
  • Unity in Christ: “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” – Galatians 3:28

Now, I know what some of you might be thinking: this all sounds great, but how do I live these verses out? Let’s explore that together as a community!
